Shell and tube heat exchangers

Shell and tube heat exchangers are the most common type of heat exchange equipment. In such devices, several media are used, where one medium transmits heat to another. Heat transfer/absorption media are isolated from the environment, allowing for safe use of, for example, toxic, explosive or very hot liquids and gases. At the same time, isolation of the media reduces the influence of the environment on the process, which is enhanced by thermal insulation of the device. Depending on the behavior of specific media in the heat exchange process, the devices are manufactured in vertical and horizontal versions. The design of the devices is strongly influenced by the operating conditions and intended use. These factors determine the type of the shell and tube heat exchanger. Heat exchangers – heat exchangers of different intended use that can be manufactured in horizontal and vertical versions. We manufacture the following types of heat exchangers

  • heat exchangers with fixed tube arrays and a rigid body. They are used if the media in the heat exchanger cause equivalent temperature expansion in the heat exchanger elements.

  • heat exchangers with a compensator. Lens compensators are installed on the body of such heat exchangers. The compensator allows the body to increase and decrease the length. They are used if the media in the heat exchanger cause different temperature expansion in the heat exchanger elements.
                       
                       

  • floating-head heat exchangers. They are used if the elements of the heat exchanger have a large difference in temperature expansions. Such heat exchangers have a rigid body, and rigidly connected with the body only at one end. This allows them to move freely within the body.

  • heat exchangers with U-shaped tubes. Their construction includes U-shaped curved tubes that pass through the entire heat exchanger and return back. By analogy with heat exchangers of TP type, they have a rigid body and rigid connection of internal elements with the body only at one end.

Refrigerators – these heat exchanging devices are structurally similar to heat exchangers. The difference is that the coolant is recycled water. They can also be of a horizontal and vertical version. We manufacture the following types of refrigerators:

  • refrigerators with fixed tube arrays and a rigid body. They are used if the media in the refrigerator cause equivalent temperature expansion in the refrigerator elements.

  •  refrigerators with a compensator. Lens compensators are installed on the body of such refrigerators. The compensator allows the body to increase and decrease the length. They are used if the media in the refrigerator cause different temperature expansion in the refrigerator elements.
 
  •  refrigerators with fixed tube arrays and a rigid body. They are used if the media in the refrigerator cause equivalent temperature expansion in the refrigerator elements.

Capacitors – heat exchangers, in which product vapors are cooled and condensed. Capacitors can be manufactured in horizontal and vertical versions. We manufacture the following types of capacitors:

  • capacitors with fixed tube arrays and a rigid body. They are used if the media in the capacitor cause equivalent temperature expansion in the capacitor elements.

  • capacitors with a compensator. Lens compensators are installed on the body of such capacitors. The compensator allows the body to increase and decrease the length. They are used if the media in the capacitor cause different temperature expansion in the capacitor elements.

  • floating-head capacitors. They are used if the elements of the heat exchanger have a large difference in temperature expansions. Such capacitors have a rigid body, and the internal elements are rigidly connected with the body only at one end. This allows them to move freely within the body.

Evaporators – heat exchangers, in which one of the media (refrigerant) boils by absorbing heat from another medium (coolant). Evaporators can be manufactured only in a vertical version. We manufacture the following types of evaporators:

  • evaporators with fixed tube arrays and a rigid body. They are used if the media in the evaporator cause equivalent temperature expansion in the evaporator elements.

  • evaporators with a compensator. Lens compensators are installed on the body of such evaporators. The compensator allows the body to increase and decrease the length. They are used if the media in the evaporator cause different temperature expansion in the evaporator elements.
